On October 29, DYNEFF and the European project LIFE-GiDomus signed a collaboration agreement to promote the energy renovation of single-family and multi-family homes in the Girona region. The event took place this Tuesday within the framework of the Girona Trade Fair, with the participation of Anna Bes Ginesta, General Director of Dyneff, and Jordi Ayats, Director of the Europace Foundation and representative of the GiDomus project.
Thanks to this agreement, the energy renovation projects managed by GiDomus will be able to benefit from the Energy Savings Certificates (CAE) market: a national initiative created in 2023 that allows the monetization of energy savings achieved through improvement measures.
Through this collaboration, Dyneff will purchase the CAEs generated by the residential projects managed by GiDomus, which will reduce the final investment cost for homeowners by between 5% and 10%.
The GiDomus offices will manage the entire CAE processing workflow with Dyneff, supporting users with the necessary documentation and administrative steps to ensure they receive the market value of the energy savings generated.
This collaboration is part of the European project LIFE-GiDomus, which aims to validate new models of integral, free, and local support to facilitate energy renovation of the residential housing stock. The project seeks to contribute to a more efficient, fair, and accessible energy transition for everyone.
GiDomus is currently operating in the counties of Gironès, Pla de l’Estany, Ripollès, and Garrotxa, and during 2026 it will expand to Alt Empordà, Baix Empordà, and La Selva.
Until November 2, GiDomus is present at the Girona Trade Fair, with its own stand and various outreach activities to bring the benefits of energy renovation closer to citizens and industry professionals.
