GiDomus's success at the Girona Trade Fair: driving energy retrofitting in the region

From 29 October to 2 November, GiDomus took part in the Girona Trade Fair with the aim of bringing residential energy renovation closer to citizens, homeowners’ associations, and professionals in the sector.

One of the highlights of the week was the signing of a collaboration agreement between DYNEFF and GiDomus, represented by Anna Bes Ginesta, Managing Director of Dyneff, and Jordi Ayats, Director of the Fundació Europace. This agreement will help promote new energy renovation projects in the province of Girona through the Energy Savings Certificate (CAE) market, which can reduce investment costs by between 5% and 10%.

Throughout the five days of the fair, GiDomus organised information sessions and professional meetings to encourage collaboration and generate opportunities within the energy transition sector. Notable activities included:

      • How to finance energy renovation for homeowners’ associations in Girona
      • GiDomus Professional Network: new business opportunities in the sector
      • GiDomus professionals’ breakfast, featuring participation from leading companies and organisations.

Among the speakers and collaborators were Gena Dabau (CAF Girona), Albert Juan (Watts Renovable), Albert Costa (Aistercel), Jordi Solé (Ecrowd) and Toni Cortés (Unión de Créditos Inmobiliarios).

The fair also received an institutional visit from the Honourable Ms Sílvia Paneque, Delegate of the Government of the Generalitat in Girona, who expressed her support for the project and its key role in driving energy renovation across the region.

With this participation, GiDomus reaffirms its commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency in the Girona counties. The European LIFE-GiDomus project is already operational in Gironès, Pla de l’Estany, Ripollès and Garrotxa, and will be expanded during 2026 to Alt Empordà, Baix Empordà and La Selva.GiDomus is a collective project promoted by Fundació Europace, Clúster de l’Energia Eficient de Catalunya (CEEC), IREC, R2M Solution, Social Innovation for Communities (UpSocial), Ecrowd! i Ecoserveis Cultura Energètica.
