On 15 September, the LIFE-GiDomus project will be presented at the workshop "One-Stop Shops to promote energy renovation: key insights and experiences for their deployment across the territory", co-organised by the Clúster de l'Energia Eficient de Catalunya (CEEC) and the Barcelona Provincial Council.
The event will bring together public administrations, local authorities, renovation offices and stakeholders from across the sector to discuss the deployment of One-Stop Shops (OSS) for building renovation in Catalonia. This support model facilitates access to information, financial aid, funding and services to encourage the energy renovation of buildings.
Representing LIFE-GiDomus, Jordi Ayats, Director of Fundació Europace, will take part in the roundtable "Experiences and best practices across the territory", where he will share the project's experience alongside representatives from the COLOUR and LIFE-MERIT-OS projects, as well as the Housing Office of the Barcelona Provincial Council.
The workshop will also address the new regulatory framework resulting from the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) and Spain's National Building Renovation Plan (PNRE), as well as the different One-Stop Shop implementation models currently being developed across the territory.
The event will provide an opportunity to learn about existing experiences, identify models that can be applied by municipalities, and reflect on the tools, partnerships and capabilities needed to facilitate the energy renovation of buildings in the coming years.
LIFE-GiDomus' participation in this workshop reflects the project's commitment to promoting One-Stop Shop models that make the energy renovation of residential buildings easier, bringing this support closer to citizens and to all stakeholders involved in the renovation process.
